Established in the mid 1800’s in Kendal, Gawith Hoggarth have been providing pipe tobacco for 3 generations. Using the finest high quality and raw materials available, from day one Gawith Hoggarth have used the same traditional methods when producing their world famous tobacco, and in some instances, they still use the original machinery from the factories early years. The ribbons of golden brown enrobed in strips of black entices the eye while the texture blandishes the fingers into pinching and packing it into a pipe. It enkindles effortlessly and gives ample quantities of creamy smoke that’s gentle on the tongue. Slowly burning down to a dry ash, this tobacco is moreish even after a lengthy smoke. Delightful! Tried a 10gram sampler of this tobacco , amongst others. This is the most pleasurable I have tried so far. Get some lovely flavoursome smoke from it. Would recommend.
